Shah Rukh Khan To Play A Double Role Of Father-Son In Atlee’s Upcoming Film?
Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan will play a double role of father and son in director Atlee’s upcoming action film.
Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s 2018 film, Zero opposite Katrina Kaif, and Anushka Sharma, which failed miserably at the box office. After the film, the superstar didn't sign any film and his fans are eagerly expecting an announcement about his next film. Now, reportedly, the actor are going to be back on the large screen and signed his next with South director Atlee.
According to the newest report in Mid-Day, SRK are going to be playing a double role during this untitled film, “Unlike those films, however, here, the 2 characters are a generation apart. At the guts of the actioner is that the father-son relationship, which is fractured by their polarising worldviews. the daddy may be a senior R&AW agent, who is on a mission to capture his gangster son. Though the premise is analogous thereto of Ramesh Sippy’s Shakti (1982), the stories don't have anything further in common.”
The report further states that the project is probably going to roll from mid-2021 after Pathan is complete.
Apart from Atlee’s project, SRK also has two other films lined up, which are Siddharth Anand’s Pathan which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, Rajkumar Hirani’s untitled movie.
