Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Is A Suicide And Not Murder; AIIMS Doctor

Sushant Singh Rajput's post-mortem report states that the actor's death was a case of suicide.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging on June 14, 2020, at his Bandra residence. The official postmortem reports concluded that he passed away from asphyxia due to hanging. However, the late actor’s family claimed that the actor’s death was not a suicide and but murder.

Now, Dr. Sudhir Gupta, who led the AIIMS panel re-evaluating the actor’s post-mortem report, ruled out murder theories, “Sushant’s death is a case of suicide. Murder completely ruled out,” he said. The evidences also point it to be a case of suicide, with no foul play. However, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is likely to continue its probe into “abetment to suicide”, reported NDTV.

Reportedly, the CBI has questioned and inspected over 20 people in its 57 days of the probe. The agency has also forensically examined the seized laptop, hard drives, digital camera, and two mobile phones in SSR’s case. “All aspects are being looked into including murder angle. So far, no evidence has come up to prove it to be a case of murder. If during the course of investigation, we get any evidence, murder charge will be added. For now, abetment to suicide and other charges in the FIR are being probed,” reported NDTV.

SSR’s family’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, earlier claimed that the late actor’s death was “200% by strangulation and not suicide” However, in response to the lawyer, these claims are “incorrect.”
