Aditya Roy Kapur Announces New Project, ‘Om: The Battle Within’ On His Birthday
On Aditya Roy Kapur's birthday, he announced a replacement project, titled, ‘Om: The Battle Within.’
Aditya Roy Kapur has turned a year older today (November 16, 2020)The actor was last seen within the anthology dark comedy crime film Ludo alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Suresh Saraf, Pearle Maaney and Inayat Verma which was released on Netflix. Now, on his 35th birthday, the OK Jaanu actor announced a replacement project, titled, Om: The Battle Within.
The film marks the directorial debut of action director Tinu Verma’s son, Kapil, co-produced by Ahmed, who previously helmed Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3, produced by Zee Studios.
Ahmed Khan took to his Instagram, to announce the news and captioned it as, “Presenting @adityaroykapur in OM-the battle within on his birthday in an Action Avataar along side @zeestudiosofficial. To be directed by @itskapilverma. Produced by @zeestudiosofficial”
Talking about the film, Aditya told Mumbai Mirror, in an interview, “Last year, around this point , i used to be juggling between the shoots of Malang and Ludo. Both films got me tons of appreciation. Covid notwithstanding, this year has been a special one on the work front. I even have been living with OM since the previous couple of months now, and that i am looking forward to the journey.”
Further, the report states that the movie will revolve around emotionally disturbed relationships within the line of duty. Kapil Verma will jump into direction with some larger-than-life action scenes. Shariq Patel of Zee stated that they're ready to roll by early next month (December) and therefore the film are going to be gearing up for a release within the last half of 2021.
